Jorge has been practicing law for 25 years in Central and South Texas. Jorge has defended clients in all types of tort cases ranging from soft tissue low impact motor vehicle accidents to wrongful death cases. Jorge’s first trial lasted three months in federal court defending a San Antonio based company and its officers from a 42-count indictment. Jorge also defended a week-long murder trial that resulted in an acquittal for his client. Jorge’s most challenging trial lasted six months in Harris County in 2006 on a commercial litigation case. He was part of a 12-attorney team that was seeking damages in a contract dispute and also defending a $100 million-dollar counterclaim. The trial resulted in a favorable jury verdict of $699 million-dollar verdict for Jorge’s team and a zero verdict on the counterclaim that was being defended.
